Me neither! He's an Easington lad though, so it's just down the road. Love Steve Harper, but I hope he never plays for them.

How can he stand to pull that rag over his heed?
Shearer couldn't do it even for charity
Barton threw their scarf on the floor when it was naughtily put next to him
Now let me think,,,,,,, money truly is the root of all evil

Our asset, Agent Harper, is now in place and we can proceed with Operation Mackem Mayhem

"I had a chance to join a Premier League club and Championship club in August and three offers to go to India. But I think my career proves I’m a bit of a home bird."

It's all set for the 20 March. Our new mackem slayer. In goal for them and he will just dive out of the way.

No issue with this for me. Good luck to him, I doubt he'll play anyway. Will always remember the decades of loyal service he gave to this club.

He won't play against us, doubt he will play for them at all.
Six months money is six months money at the end of the day.
I don't hold it against him, but just surprised by it.

My two mackem mates are proper livid about this.
They are giving it the 'hope the filthy mag bastard never plays a game'.
At the end of the day though he is an experienced PL goalie and will be on ultra low wages so it's probably a shrewd decision for them and 6 months wages for Steve.

Good luck to him. He is a professional almost at the end of a long career so hopefully he is doing it because he wants to remain in the game and not because he needs the money.

What a strange way to end your career.

    Doesn't seem right somehow.

    Tarnished legacy? Hmm...
