    So glad to hear him say continually that he wants to stay, hes going to have a big part to play this season in rallying the troops and dragging the frenchy ****s forward, should start every game he can IMO.

    Hopefully the club will do the right thing an extend his deal with an improved contract. Would gladly have him here for another 4 years.

    If it was me it would have been priority no1 at the end of the season, not too bothered about Nolan but Barton definitely.

    Will be a real test of how much say Pardew has if he can get the board to totally change their minds about him. Let's hope he's up to it, already done the trick with Saylor and Simpson.

    Cabaye was the same type of player, maybe even better in Ligue 1 so maybe Pards is thinking about replacing Joey completely.
    I think a god lil 3 year extension would be great :D

    I think Cabaye was bought knowing that there was going to be trouble with Nolans contract. As for Barton I'd take any extension he can get
