So now I quoted him. I never even read the article. I already know what's going on.

What a shocker you avoid answering the question posed.

So I repeat...if I was to accept that the record overall yearly temperature in Finland last year was all down to El Nino, what caused the record temperature of 2014?

    I await your answer.

What the **** are you on about now <laugh> Seriously, you talk so much ****e I was lost.

You start an argument over my comment about Finland having a cool summer, and when you get mullered on it, you pretend the argument was about Finland's average temperature.

    Are you on drugs?

Seeing as you like trashing sources Astro, you quoted Pachauri, former head of the IPCC.. accused sex fiend and up to his eyes in renewable energy and banks and oil.

Who also called "climate change" his "religion"

So are you standing by the chart imagined up by Pielke?

    Yet more diversionary tactics.

Let me repeat for the hard of thinking....

We started this discussion with you saying that it was a crap summer in Finland last year AND that it was -20C (not in the summer I assume lol) therefore making out that the weather last year was not warming at all.

I posted the Finland MI's figures about the average annual mean temperature in Finland last year being the warmest on record.

You countered this by saying that I was a ****** because this warming was obviously in the winter and it was caused by El Nino.(you provided no stats, graphs or source to back this up) You stated this as being 'fact.

Ok, so if I was to accept that explanation as being plausible (without anything factual to back it up like), then what caused the warming in the previous year - 2014 - which was the 2nd highest on record at the time?

A straightforward and logical question, I still await your #science based answer.

    Thanks x

Well obviously he had the imagination to design the parameters of that chart, or are you saying he is a plagiarist as well as the other criticisms laid at his door.

    to which you replied

Now explain to me how I am avoiding my points above

All of the above is accurate without even questioning the Finnish Met's average temperature, they are not related, or other regional temperatures at different times of the year.

So that is what you call A Stupidity and B more stupidity.

Explain how your post refutes mine, technically, anyone?

I dont know what drivel you are talking about, are you making a specific point, you said the chart is a fraud, unlike you I show the fraud, and how it was done.

Are you saying there is not a decline in loss per GDP to extreme weather?

Yet another avoidance of the simple question asked, a sceptic might think that you're avoiding answering as you've not got a credible answer.

    So I repeat.

If I choose to accept your theory that 2015's record temperature in Finland was solely due to El Nino, what caused the near record temperatures of 2014?

    Please educate me.

No I didnt , yet again you are guilty of putting words into other peoples mouths. I think you genuinely believe I did as it is a classic symptom of those people who create an artificial reality in order to continue their self delusion eg you.

So I will ask again are you standing by the Pielke chart despite the criticism it has received?

The trend shows the average loss/GDP has decreased from about 0.3% in 1990 to about 0.2% in 2015

Over the same time GDP has increased by over 2.8 times.

So the actual cost of climate change, not as a percentage of GDP, has increased by about 2 times ($83 billion in 1990 to over $156 billion in 2015)

    There's some great quotes about Pielke here;

    http://thinkprogress.org/climate/20...t-debunked-person-in-the-science-blogosphere/

Roger Pielke Jr. is the most debunked person in the science blogosphere, possibly the entire Web. Heck, computer scientist Tim Lambert (aka Deltoid) has a whole category just for Roger, which I commend to anyone who still takes the man seriously.

Pielke is the uber-denier. Pielke denies everything, including that which he himself has said.

Pielke’s obsession on this point is so extreme that he trashes the reputation of any scientist who even suggests that there is the tiniest link whatsoever between climate change and extreme weather “” even though he himself has stated such a link exists. Indeed, he has smeared the integrity of many hundreds of the country’s top scientists for merely sitting through a discussion of the issue that doesn’t meet his extreme form of political correctness

This is why so many people in the science blogosphere block his comments or ignore his diatribes. It is impossible to engage him in debate because he is the Humpty Dumpty of climate policy:

    Sounds familiar this fella <whistle>

He never read it, but posted it as proof that the media were catching on to the #fraud.

Even though it was written by a discredited crank and he couldn't be arsed to read what he actually said, nor check out his credibility.

Which sort of sums up his entire attitude to his supposed 'research'
