I don't care for it so I avoid it, I avoid it because my life was not affected to any great extent by my participation. Of course I hated them at the time, I only saw one side of the argument but there were bigger factors at play than me. Things were done and crimes were commited, heinous atrocities, but it really is none of my concern nowadays.

It's probably the one thing I agree with you about. Every Celtic fan with a remote or imagined connection to Ireland think they automatically have some great knowledge of Irish history. It gets right on my tits.
