Be justifiable if he goes odd on if he wins well looking at how Sire got on with the second fav last month. Nothing left field looks good enough to mix it. Should the young gun beat the Sire well then he's got nothing left to prove.
nearly time for Fensters Cheltenham Specials, the highlight of the week for many, no Mullins runner is safe, ill be luring the mugs in again with carnival odds about those Down Royal Despots
7/4 for a trainer to win 10 races at Cheltenham, a poor state of affairs for the only week in jump racing
What price no Nicholls winners? Or Henderson winners? Scary thing is bookies have actually priced that up. Now THAT is a sad state of affairs 6/4 Nicholls 9/4 Hendo if memory serves correct Fair prices TBH.
4 or less at 16/1 is the only thing resembling value in that market. He would probably be happy with the right 4!
you wouldnt even be surprised if neither of them had a winner, id say Hendo is more likely than Nicholls but both will probably sneak one somewhere
This trainer/jockey to win so many races is a non runner for me,we are backing horses aren't we not!!
I fully understand your confidence Beefy but lets not forget that this is Cheltenham, the Festival and devilishly hard to have winners. Would love to ask Mullins if he would take four now!
Let's be honest, it's a fecking sad state of affairs when the goliaths of English racing are scrapping about during the biggest week of the year hoping to sneak some filthy handicap no ones going to remember about I'm sure Nicholls will be back. He's supposedly spent fortunes on young French stock apparently, much more so than Mullins, so surely but surely he can do something with those. And in a few years time I'm sure he'll have dozens of failed chasers lining up in the World Hurdle as is the norm nowadays... Henderson I'm not so sure about. Is he really that bothered? After Sprinter Sacre retires, he's short enough on stars you'd have to say. What's to say he just doesn't call it a day and spend it on the brandy full time?! And worryingly how the hell would SBC react when the inevitable day is upon us
