It's on any Leeds news outlet but the gist is that we are 'hopefully' signing 2 new player before the game against Bristol City
You really sure about that? Played out of position as a RM last season. All new to him, and yet no other midfielder scored more goals than him. 22 appearances this season, and again, top scorer from midfield. I think you're being very unfair on him.
Are you buying a season ticket at the Olympic stadium next season. Sam was great till Warnock ruined him, hasn't been any better than average since. Is he rimming you?
So you don't like midfielders scoring for Leeds then? Tell me who in midfield we're going to rely on now to score.
Just read this. Wonder if he's have got off so lightly if he was a plumber or something..... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...-responsible-person-despite-tax-sentence.html
You really have the hots for him don't you...... He won't ever be heard of again after the next couple of months.... Now average championship right back at best, not even that as a midfielder.
He's far from being a saint. I only posed questions and stated facts that reflect his contribution. Top scoring midfielder 2 seasons running - scoring whilst learning how to do the job. So far, no-one has refuted any of the facts. Probably because they can't.
Can't tackle, never fit and exactly how many goals has he scored? Been slightly less ****e than all the other crap you tell me is progress isn't a glowing reference. Not one of them will be a prem regular....
Leeds are hopeful of agreeing deals for two signings within the next 48 hours. Assistant manager Paul Raynor revealed on Thursday that the Championship club have tabled “two written bids” for targets and a verbal offer was made for a third player on Wednesday night. Leeds have held lengthy talks with Norwich about a deal for striker Kyle Lafferty, and Celtic attacking midfielder Tom Rogic is also a target. Manager Steve Evans is a fan of Bournemouth striker Lee Tomlin, while Peterborough owner Darragh MacAnthony has claimed on social media that United have enquired about the club’s 22-year-old forward Marcus Maddison. Leeds officials insist that all the money from the £3.5million sale of Sam Byram to West Ham will be available for Evans to use this month to refurbish the squad. The club’s No2 faced the media on Thursday after Evans was called away to Elland Road for a meeting with owner Massimo Cellino about transfer targets. aynor said: “We have got a couple of bids out there, I know that for a fact, and I know the manager works very closely with the president.”Things are bubbling and fingers crossed we might have something to announce maybe later today or tomorrow.” Asked if the signings would be loan deals or permanent, Raynor said: “There are two written bids out there. I know the manager was in contact with a club last night and also made a verbal bid for a club so things are happening. “We are trying to do things, we want to improve and the president has been very receptive to our ideas and what we want to do. That’s very positive for us and there’s money available.”
Este, completely agree with you but how do we plan for next season when the coach could be sacked at any moment on the whim of the owner? If Evans gets his choice of players, the next manager might not fancy them.
Evening Ristac, mixed messages coming out of the club. Earlier Evans was saying he wouldn't buy just anyone simply to add fresh faces, which I took to mean nothing was going to happen transfer wise (at least in). I was getting ready for the usual excuses in February for not doing so and usual talk of using the emergency loan window. Or am I too cynical.
Part-time replacement for the retiring tea-lady and a 12 month contract for a new match-day burger van (head coaches eat free). You heard it here first
