So you made 6 bad recruitment decisions. Surprised you kept your own job for employing so much crap. In my first 2 cases, we were all made redundant as the site was closing as part of a consolidation. Nowt to do with crapness! I also volunteered for redundancy from IBM as I was fed up with thousands of our jobs being given to Indians that were mostly completely incapable of doing the jobs with any level of acceptable competency. Best thing I ever done! TBH, being over 50, the red lasers were pointing at my head anyway, so it was only a matter of time. Unofficial IBM policy.
Fortunately, they were old gits that were employed long before I started - earning far too much money and too set in their ways to adapt to technology - now have a team of youngsters earning half as much but doing 3 x as much work NB - I made lots of dosh when TSB group floated on the Stock Exchange in the 90s
Best sites/employees don't get shut in consolidations, more not seeing the real situation. To lose ur job to indian script jockeys how bad were you, jeez no wonder you are bitter. You keep telling yourself it was company policy if it helps.
Company policy, but guarantee that the Indian script jockeys were more up to date with technology, ready to learn, and easier to get on with
