Lad I was with tried to buy 4 tickets for Bury today
He has a season ticket and went to do it online and print them off...like a well trained City fan
Only problem was he hadn't bought online before and you have to login, only he couldn't because he didn't think he ever registered. If you don't login, you can't buy tickets for Bury because the game doesn't even show on the screen to buy them
    He gave up
I realise this can be easily resolved of course, but whatever the system is that they want to introduce they really ought to make it as simple as possible for people trying to give them money

It's not easy if you are still at school or not working and haven't got a credit card, don't have a computer, printer, or not computer literate or have a near by library or the means to get there in the limited hours they are open.
All the main supermarkets offer a buy-on-line service with a delivery to your front door. You can get you weeks supply of frozen chips and beer with out leaving your house. Same principle as above; What could be easier ? So why don't the supermarkets close all their stores and sack all the staff to save money ? Instead they open 24/7 and fighting each other to open even more stores.
Why should deciding to got to a football match on what ever day and time SKY decide we can kick off be so ****ing difficult ?

Allam would rather employ 100 stewards in the North Stand to check your seat tickets over and over again, tell fans which direction to look and block the aisles at half time rather than employ a couple of people to take your money and get more people through the gate - mind you he is a business genius and pissing off the fans, reducing the match day attendance and doubling the price for disabled supporters is probably a masterstroke which other clubs will follow - on the other hand perhaps he's just a stupid ****

Not everyone is online. I am sure there are hundreds if not thousands of supporters that do not possess a computer let alone a printer

Why? I thought it was a fair post pointing out the benefits of buying tickets online and then the disadvantages. I felt it fairly reflected the reaction to change, something again happening without consultation over something that applies to every fan. Or, are you just criticising them because they're questioning something done by the club? Well done HCST for raising this issue.

A rather more sensible approach from our co-tenants...

Clive Sullivan Trophy: Pay On The Gate Today

Hull FC would like to inform fans that tickets will be available on the gate for today’s Clive Sullivan Trophy fixture against Hull Kingston Rovers.

Due to a high demand for tickets and ongoing software updates at the KC Stadium ticket office, a number of selected turnstiles will be open to supporters to pay on the gate.

Fans will also be able to pay with cash and card at the West Stand kiosk opposite the stadium reception, but this will only be selling South Stand Unreserved tickets.

No tickets will be available from the ticket office for this fixture.

The following cash turnstiles will be in operation:

    East stand – 11 and 12

    South stand – 14 and 21

    West lower – 23 and 39

    North stand – 41 and 50

Tickets will be charged at £18 adults, £15 concessions and £10 juniors.

Members Double: Season Pass Members who missed out on 'Members Double' tickets will also be able to buy these from the West Stand ticket kiosk. Only South Stand Unreserved will be available. To find out more about 'Members Double' - click here

Youd think this would be a complete sell out well before match day seeing as we're a rugby town.

Gate money in RL is a huge percentage of revenue, hence Hull FC are bending over backwards to accommodate fans.
