Yes as I suspected, it's way more than Haigs examples Fail of epic proportions. this is actually quite hilarious
Lamela's not a striker, isn't on over £100k p/w and didn't cost £26m. Absolutely spot on, other than all of the facts.
Where did I say anything different? All I asked was that the usual Spurs Arsenal stuff stay off the mouser thread.
... this might just be a first ... we live in hope .. PS Lamela has a cool haircut? ... only if 'reposing mink on head' is a fashion trend that hase passed me by
Jesus, PNP! You've completed something I thought I'd never see in my lifetime - a double-"owning" of exceptionally Biblical and Koranic proportions! Pixie and Sucky would be reeling (if only they fully understood the epic fcukwittedness of their initial gambits).
... you've got history in this area Soldados is a striker, was on over £100k p/w and cost over £26m ... and is worse than Dirk Kuyt Adebayor is on strike, is on over £100k p/w and is costing Spuds a small fortune
... yes ... we set trends even then ... others still trying to follow In fairness however he only cost us £5 million (less then half the money we got for our record sale)... and was on £25k a year ... he wasn't very bright
That's until you factor in the cost of failing to get past the first round of the UEFA Cup and relegation the following year. Sacking half a dozen managers in two seasons can't be cheap, either.
... we were run on a virtual shoe-string back then ... I would hazard an educated guess that the cost of a full season paying Adebayor's non-playing salary would have settled all of the above with enough change left over to pay the road tax on Levy's Reliant Robin
Yes, but it meant missing out on Premier League payments, TV deals, etc. That's as well as finishing bottom of the league and having Robbie Savage win your POTY award repeatedly. Some things are inexpensive and some things are cheap. They're not necessarily the same things.
Strangely enough I loved the League 1 experience ... we had been awful for so many seasons beforehand that it was a welcome opportunity for some intense pruning and also provided the chance to visit some wonderful football grounds and mix with some real genuine fans ... Robbie Savage, I can make no excuses for... he is the footballing equivalent of HIAG's wummery ... inflated self-opinion on ability but can't fault the effort . Daimond Lights with Mullets - there is shame ... and then there is shame ... some stains can't be erased with cillit bang (depite the claims) ..
I think that you'd have put up with a **** song and bad haircuts in order to have Hoddle and Waddle playing for you. There's a reason that Clive Allen scored 49 goals in one campaign.
So's Elton John. please log in to view this image Which one's Piskie and which one's HIAG? There should be a poll, really.
