i think Wolves offered 4m for Mason at the beginning of the season, so why would we sell at 1.6m doesnt make sense because we would not be able to spend the money anyway.

IMO Mason won't be sold - well not this season. Not sure about Doyle though. We can just hope that the club are eyeing up a striker on loan as even with Mason, the striking options are dire.
According to the BBC we want at least £5 million. He's good but I imagine if Wolves stump up that much for him we'll sell. However, we won't be forced into selling our main players.

Another Slade acquisition who's either been misused in his time here or wasn't up to the mark in the first place - either way it should be another nail in Slade's coffin. Add him to Revell, Doyle, Tamas, Ameobi and maybe even Saadi at the moment and you've got the picture as to Slade's vision (lack of).. He's brought no one in in front of the back four that's been any good - Peltier and Malone not exactly earth shattering buys either, merely adequate. I just hope Lex Luther proves to be an exception.
