Morning Eire, suppose the point I was making was that it was more or less a dead cert that Byram would be leaving this transfer window. It has been done to death so fair point. Overseas fans should be reinbursed by the league
Morning Ell On callender last night said that all championship clubs were given 5 mill each as part of the deal plus £100,000. per gam seems alot to me,over 210 mill, but then £210 seems alot to me. Any how, hey ho on to the next episode of the LU farce
I guess but out of all the loans with a view to a permanent move, not many seem to work in our favour. I took his tweet to mean does he want to leave or not..
Me neither, and IF we do it must be QUALITY,no more ****e loans, could do a job players. Quality to build for next year, this one is a write off allready.
Whether we do or not is almost irrelevant, as our Irish Mensa member says, another season over before Christmas If we could do one thing this January, I would love us to get Bridcutt tied up on a permanent on the basis that he knows what we are doing in the summer and that we are using the Byram money on something other than Charlie (and I don't mean Taylor). In other words, show a bit of planning and intent
Next year is already a write off too. The only way into the big time now is to buy your way into it. Risk the sanctions of FFP because if you spend big, get up and stay up the penalties are dwarfed by the prize money...... Under dickhead we are getting busted for upsetting sky not trying to be successful.
Maybe but Raynor is taking the Press Conference today so Evans and Cellino can discuss potential transfers http://www.insidefutbol.com/2016/01...-as-leeds-boss-meets-massimo-cellino/265476/?
If you have Twitter have a look at Pope... The replies to Evans saying we have money to spend... Fans finally getting fed-up with Evans being "Cellinos mouthpiece" and all the talk that we have money to spend...
This will be the results have to improve conversation........... Evans is on his bike soon and a good job too. Side is **** to watch.............................................
As someone pointed out on Twitter... IF you have money to spend you do your business early and quietly... As another pointed out what a great idea, let clubs know you have money to spend and inflate the price. It's no secret I don't like Evans but credit where it is due, he has improved how we play, it might be marginal but I believe he has improved us but... Every time he speaks it is gobshite, I don't believe anything he has to say, he just tries to keep everyone on his side. I'm surprised he hasn't told us we are buying back Elland Road
I disagree he has NOT improved how we play...... 4-5-1 especially at home is disgracefully negative and it doesn't work....
The tweet I saw last night was to some Leeds fans who bad mouthed Tomlin and he said something like: "If I had any respect for you your hurtful comment would worry me, but as you're stupid jog on" so obviously he took a lot of stick and probs wont bother anyway
In my opinion there is no point in spending money this transfer window. We are going nowhere fast and we probably have just enough points/quality in the present set up to get to around 50pts. Players for sale now from other clubs are surplus to requirements and in any case we could not afford to buy anyone worth while at this stage of season. Make the present team aware they are playing for the chance to stay at the club next season. Get rid of anyone (owner, manager, players ) who will not move the club towards at least a playoff attempt next season. Get new (owner, manager, players) who have at least a chance of making progress for a change in the right direction... upward This of course is a blueprint for any club to suceed and we have such an excellent record of making the correct decisions .
