I would argue that further education is a measure of intelligence as do most people reading a CV .
Although a lot of graduates haven't got the common sense that God gave geese.

 

That was my thought to be honest. I can only speak as I find but I know people with PHDs who are clearly super intelligent but couldn't find their way around London.

Intelligence is definitely subjective and I believe in people having different types - book and street smart if you will.

Some people have both entirely, some people have one or the other, some have a mix.

I said that previously too. Not every intelligent person has a degree, someone like wonky-footed Mick is obviously intelligent but he hasn't got a degree.

Intelligence is a very subjective issue.

Most intelligent people don't want to get sent out to various parts of the world to get shot at though (or stack loaves of bread/clean floors/operate tills)
