I didn't know about the original May date so assumed December 2017 anyway in line with Force Awakens and Rogue One.
Ignore the child, hes under some sort of assumption that blue nose is some sort of abuse. When you question him and he can't answer he generally replies with this.
It looks like the new Terminator film might have been scrapped, after the last one under-performed. I'll be back. Erm....no you won't.
The smiley at the end looked like you were implying I ****ed up quoting your post. I was just being a pedantic twat. Anyway, has anyone seen The Revenant? I've heard mixed reviews.
I've heard the scenery is incredible but the story lacks a bit in terms of depth. Mind you, this was a review in The Guardian.
I think that's fair, as far as stories go its its pretty predictable and shallow but its a great piece of film making and can be enjoyed for Tom Hardy's performance alone.
Erm... it's based on a true story. To say it's predictable is a tad unfair. What, was you expecting him to just die 90 minutes in?
Hero undergoes traumatic event, overcomes the odds and eventually gets revenge, it's been told a thousand times before. Although like you said it's (rather loosely) based on a true story so they didn't have many options. It's a great film though, casting, acting, locations and costumes were all spot on, it deserves the award nominations although it's criminal Tom Hardy was overlooked.
Hardy wasn't, he's been nominated too. The nominations are: Best Picture Best Director (Alejandro G. Iñárritu) Best Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio) Best Supporting Actor (Tom Hardy) Best Sound Editing Best Sound Mixing Best Production Design Best Cinematography Best Makeup Best Costume Design Best Film Editing Best Visual Effects
That's one awards show. And not exactly the most reputable, at least next to the Academy Awards. They called The Martian a comedy. Now, it has some funny moments, but a comedy? Jesus. I also don't trust any award show which says Wolf Hall was a better TV series than Fargo...
Really loosely based. A fur trapper called Hugh Glass was left for dead in the woods after a bear attack. All the rest is fiction. Great film though.
