Pilots need a degree? That's new to me.

I started off (about 10 pages ago) saying intelligent people don't become squaddies. I then proceeded to say 'join the Army' (which, by the way, is how most people would understand it). I used the example of Engineers, but of course a doctor or a dentist need qualifications. They don't tend to go out and shoot people though.

I think it's very subjective...

If you have a relevant degree i.e Engineering, and you achieve a 2 at least, then you probably work as an Engineer.

However, I know ****s with Art degrees that work in call centres!

I would say, - in my opinion - if you are looking at Army squaddies, then I'd say there is a large % of them deemed as average (to maybe low) intelligence. It's a recruitment tactic, target poor areas - get a squaddie.

However, there will be a % who have degrees adn/or are deemed intelligent and work their way up the ranks.

They ****s on that SAS programme (the actual SAS guys), I would like to guess that they doubt have a degree but you couldn't say they were not intelligent. You know, SAS = Super Army Soldiers.

I dont have a degree but I consider my self to be pretty intelligent. Well above average.

But I my penis is of average size - last time I saw it.

I know this is for Dev ... but not a memory test as such, but in my opinion, the majority of degrees are not a measure of intelligence. It is a measure of your ability to study and retain relevant information.

My brother has a 1st in Civil Engineer, and a Masters in Project Management and uses that as a measure of his intelligence - it's not. He is good a maths, problem solving and being methodical.

He's a daft racist at times.
