Big home game this weekend, once again a must win. We have to take advantage of the 'momentum' our shonky one nil win away to the hun has given us. Saints are currently playing well, which doesn't bode well, but I think we'll more than likely piss this one one nil. Nil nil at half time of that there's no doubt, then a glorious penalty winner from the resident in form busted flush fat man you all want to see the back of. Interesting fact, the first game I remember watching was against Southampton, the 1976 FA cup final. Bobby Stokes was off side.
At one point I thought the players must be doing all this awful passing sideways and backwards and doodling about deliberately. No one could really play that bad at OT. The fans must be dreading going to watch a home match. The best thing that can happen is a goal in the first 10 minutes. That would open up the game. But if the Saints defend in depth and make no effort to attack then LVG will revert to type. 0-0 at half time and 1-0 in the 85th minute if we are lucky. We really need a change in the summer.
Our expected line up... ---------------------DDG Schwein---Young---Pereira---Carrick --------------Martial----Rooney Jones------------Smalling--------Schneid ---------------------Fellaini
I assume you have Fellaini in goal. If so, good call - Afroman will have a legitimate reason to elbow people in the face and DDG will probably be our best chance of scoring
From ESPN site: Koeman: Still it is difficult to beat United. It's a team which have a lot of strengths but also a team with some weaknesses. http://www.espnfcasia.com/barclays-...91194/koeman-its-difficult-to-beat-man-united
**** it. I am going to stick my neck out and predict that this match is the match that LVG at last sees the light and dumps his cautious philosophy and plays the United way. All attacking and taking Koeman by surprise. "It is the hope that kills us not the despair "
Likely Saints line up: ---------------------Forster--------------- --------Fonte------Van Dijk----Bertrand----- -Cedric------------------------------------Targett----- -----Wanyama------Davis-----Clasie----------- -------------Mane----------Austin-------------------
Tony Fernandes is a complete moron (not news). Here he goes rejecting £12m from Leicester then six months later took £4m to sell an England international. Don't take advice from this guy when negotiating for a new salary.
I know. Not complaining though. Although I suspect Austin really wanted to move to Saints whereas he wasn't that fussed about Leicester.
