    Nice one p49.

I just checked their match thread. Lots of moaning about having Harrison because they had to change formation to accommodate him. Nothing was said though about his performance until page 4 from someone who actually went to the game, who said:

"was at the game tonight. terrible selection. Elllis Harrison has potential to be something but the rest of the team played truly awful."

They aint happy with their manager! Some comments about Harrison in this thread calling for their managers head.... http://www.pooliebunker.co.uk/newbunker/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=58527

"So last night you have Harrison and Fenwick twidderling their thumbs up top whilst we are getting played of the park in midfield any one with half a brain would say surely tighten up in midfield but not ronnie its the players fault."

"Looking at it in the cold light of day it doesn't get any better. Moore changed a winning team and formation (which had produced two of the better displays of the season) to accommodate a loan player from a team in our own division who can't get his game and is here for one month. Some of our own players and especially young players are dropped after good performances or frozen out. It's either crazy, inept or something worse than that which I can't comprehend."

I havent seen anything negative about Harrison from the Hartlepool fans who claim the forwards never had a chance the midfield was over-run and couldnt create.

Their manager dont seem impressed though.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35363153

Tell them to cancel the loan, then we can use him from the bench

From Hartlespool's match report on their OS.... (Just the bits about Harrison)

Pools looked hungry in the opening stages and Ellis Harrison looked a particular threat getting in amongst the home central defenders Leon Legge and Mark Roberts.

The loanee could even have underlined that threat when Jake Carroll’s free-kick from the right fell to Harrison whose low shot hit the base of the post before rolling agonisingly along the line before keeper Will Norris was finally able to pounce on the loose ball during an ensuing melee.

Adam Jackson almost set-up Harrison for the opening goal after stepping out of defence and sliding the ball forward but this time Harrison’s fierce low shot was deflected wide.

Harrison then drew a clumsy foul from Roberts who was punished with a yellow card and Jordan Richards almost scored direct from the free-kick

It was all Pools and the hosts were struggling to cope; Harrison again got in to space on the edge of the box to drill a shot on goal which was well-parried by Norris who then leapt to his feet to brilliantly deny Jake Gray on the rebound.

Rhys Oates but his cross on the run which was plucked off Harrison’s head by Norris.

Pools couldn’t find the deserved breakthrough and they suffered a blow on the half hour mark when Harrison raced in to a challenge with Darnell Furlong and the striker came off worst – forced off with injury to his ankle and replaced by Rakish Bingham.
