Goodison Park, Liverpool

Following just 6 days after Swansea's home clash with Watford, the Swans travel to Goodison Park - a place where they have never won.

Everton felt aggrieved by the awarding of John Terry's late equaliser in the 3-3 draw with Chelsea - Terry was clearly offside, but are likely to find sympathy in short supply from Swans fans who saw Sunderland's Jermaine Defoe net a hat-trick, with 2 probably offside, indeed possibly all 3!

Given the way Everton have been playing recently, they will be firm favourites to beat the Swans.

However, given that the Swans are in dire need of some points, I'm hoping that the Swans can dig in and secure a gritty draw.

A good game today against Watford at home would go a long way to Everton getting nothing from this game . .If we can get an even break on officiating I think we'll get 4 points at least from these games but I won't hold my breath counting on officiating . Seen the scale for clubs comparing bad calls for and bad calls against and we sit 19th on the sh:t end of the stick.

Sitting in the relegation zone, a new manager arriving - perhaps a few minds will be focussed tonight and we'll get a good result to "springboard" us into the Everton game in good spirits.

Coming off a win , players trying to impress a new manager , Everton haven't won at home in 5 games and have only won 3 of eleven at home all season .
They do however score at home , so if we can keep their scoring down to a peep I think we may have a duck breaking good game .2 - 1 Swans

Martinez teams always leave plenty of gaps at the back for a good counter attack, just need our forward line to be sharp, but I'm not expecting anything from this game, though we could get a draw, if we played to the top of our game...........<ok>

They're playing Man City in the second leg of the League Cup semis three days after this game so it's not impossible they might rotate/rest key players which will obviously be to our advantage.

That's a great point aswan, I hadn't realised this <ok> They've got a 2 - 1 lead as well. Based on this as well as everything that's happened this week I'm now going for a Swans win, 0 - 2

0-0 draw and that would be a great result for us. From what I've read and been told so far the new Head Coach reckons that he want us to play like the Swansea of old but I'm really not sure a week is long enough. Keep it tight at the back and we may just grab a point.
