Or he could just have made it up or heard that you were scouting him or read it on a forum. That or he took it from the question that he was asked and just ran with it. That's your ultra-reliable source.
What evidence do you have for that assertion? There's plenty to suggest that he either made it up or reacted to the question itself.
Transfers fall through for all sorts of reasons. He could well have based it on sound information at the time. But clearly I can't 'prove' that is the case. And before you say it, I can't 'prove' that he's right about this Adebayor story either, but it is plausible.
So why do you keep asking for evidence to disprove this bloke? He's making a bunch of claims that he can't support and don't appear to be true, like the transfer. You want people to prove him wrong, but you're not prepared to do the same for his bullshit.
Maybe he can support them. Perhaps you should ask him directly ? You have no evidence that it's 'bullshit' either.
You're claiming that he's right. You support it. He's clearly been wrong about a bunch of other stuff, so why should anyone believe him on this, especially when it makes no sense? Another ridiculous stance from you, I'm afraid.
It makes perfect sense, so it's plausible. Nobody can prove or disprove it other than him or the club. So what we're left with is a claim from respected journalist, the chief football correspondent for the Telegraph, who also does work for the BBC, Sky and a host of other media outlets versus a couple of biased Spurs fans on a football forum. People can make up their own minds.
I think most of them have. You have zero evidence. All you have is a journalist's story. And, as we all know, they never print anything unless it's the gospel truth!!
I thought it worth bumping this thread. I still think it's too early to tell if Arsenal are on a spiral down the table, in the throes of a bottle job, but it is a fact that (a) they have gone from top to 2nd in the table, and (b) that is a fall. You lads will, no doubt, make your own minds up on this, but I won't be drawn just yet.
They've spiraled to 3rd Arsenal Losing to Chelsea and tumbling down the table early in the new year. To think people say this years PL is difficult to predict !
