Had a university exam yesterday. Turned up five minutes beforehand and our lecturer was blaring out David Bowie and bopping around the room. Slightly surreal exam start, can't say that's ever happened before.
Alright thanks. About as well as I could've hoped. Maybe the lecturer playing 'Be My Wife', 'What In The World' and 'A Nee Career In A Town' made all the difference.
Been a super-productive two days. Spent a fair amount of time viewing houses, and finally sorted one. Not a bad view from the doorstep, either. please log in to view this image
Don't tell him that. He's bad enough as it is. Tailored suits from Hong Kong, wacky hats and shoes and all sorts. Pretty cool though, really.
Cheers SA. Yeah it's one of her more gentle songs so needs a lot of vocal control to keep it delicate. I shall let her know that the Saints contingent approve! She was round last night actually and said "yeah definitely show the Southampton lot" when I suggested it! We'll have her in red and white stripes soon, I tell you...
Not bad at all eh?! Was surprised it was priced at what it was, and with other people viewing it I just put the money down and sorted it there and then. Probably find out why the price was so reasonable when it starts falling down within two months.
Brighton Marina? If so, looks lovely, but tbh is pretty soulless. I'd move further in to town if you can. If it's not Brighton Marina, ignore me!
It's not Brighton Marina! It's the Sovereign Harbour in Eastbourne. Going to be living there for the next year while I finish off university and co-ordinate my hunt for full-time employment... ...after living in a place in Eastbourne town for the year, anyone who has been there will understand why I'm moving out to the harbour.
Ha! Ignore me then! When you do get yourself over this way in future years, don't be tempted by the Marina though. All the fun is over this way. Marina looks pretty but is dull as hell.
Last time I was in Brighton, I left the station, turned right and straight into a pub (name escapes me). When I left the pub I just got on the train back. Adventurous.
