    Good Morning Everyone,

Two years today, the rumours started....

Rumours that an Italian entrepreneur wanted to buy our once great club.

WHAT A TWO YEARS IT HAS BEEN!

    Any favourite moments?

Leeds will face Bolton in the 4th Round of the FA Cup!

Shame for Eastleigh (and you lot0. I was going to buy you all tickets :emoticon-0141-whew:

The Byram deal should be done today. He'll be going to West Ham. It's 3.7m straight cash.

It also looks that Cook could also be on his way!

Bournemouth will be increasing their offer today, and will throw a player in as well.

Not sure which player, but doubt it will Gradel!

Morning Elland. You mean you missed an opportunity to put 100% markup on the tickets and flog them to us <laugh> you are an estate agent after all. Like many have said, I used to get depressed at the good players going but just numb now. It's expected. We're just a feeder club for the Norwichs and Bournemouths of the world. It's a tough job Evans has. Glory is wiping the drool from his face at this very moment. Likely he'll need a towel the day Cooks sold

    Morning all,it's raining!
Rumours are the player involved is tomlin,I never heard of him so googled him,not what I was hoping for!!
Gradel is out for the year with a cruciate ligament anyway.
I don't think cook will leave this window, but more than likely in the summer, can't blame him if he does.
There is a petion to stop sky changing fixtures at short notice,I will try to post it here if anyone wants to sign it.

Good Morning Est, Cook only signed a 2 year deal, which would take him til the end of next season. I'd hold off for 8m plus a decent centre half or striker, or both!!!

Cellino is something else, has high ambitions and thinks he's brilliant but nobody elde does. too many false promises especially buying back ER, yet I sort of understand that because he has GFH tied round his neck who are doing nothing but sitting back waiting for the value of their 25% to increase as soon as ER gets bought or the club get promoted.

Eires correct we are nothing but a feeder club for small clubs who were league 1 standard not long ago but were prudent enough to invest and now reap the rewards of the prem tv money backed up pay high parachute payments for failing. Its now a closed shop as massive investment required to even compete on a level playing field with bottom of the prem clubs.

Morning Doc, Surely Cellino would have made provisions that if he had bought ER, which could have effected the price, the GFH's stake would stay the same?

No he thought he had a binding agreement to buy them out but was conned, and he wasnt willing to invest heavily if it increased GFH share value. He paid them some cash early on with the understanding that they covered any investment costs pro rata, but they either reneged or had him tied up legally

Until we stop selling our young players we'll always be a Champs league outfit. The last time we showed any ambition the club nearly imploded, thanks to Ridsdale going with his heart rather than his business head.

Morning Shaks. I agree 100% but were in a catch 22 situation now. No championship club can compete with pl wages and media hype so as soon as a pl club comes calling, the players heads are turned and theyre off. Its not going to change unless we ever get a proper Arab Sheikh with cash to burn. Our players being poached arent even top notch. West Ham is the biggest club in a decade weve sold someone to near enough. Our lot usually only wind up with relegation threatened outfits and we cant even compete with them ffs

    Morning all

There are too many classic moments in the last two years to pick out a favourite.

On to Bournemouth and Cook. If they really want him let's try and seriously rip them off. Let see how high they will go. As for bringing Tomlin in as part exchange with Bianchi supposedly going back to Italy and Sloth just not playing heck why not bring in another midfielder looks like he play across the middle four.

The longer we're in this Division we will be a feeder club for the Prem that's how it works sadly, you can say that with many clubs out there in this division over the years.

Morning all... In regards to the opening statement about Cellino... Didn't he say if he hasn't got us promoted in two years he has failed?

This article sums up everything I will remember Cellino for in his two years in charge.
    http://rightinthegarykellys.com/massimo-cellinos-7-deadly-sins/

This paragraph really hurts but is so true...

Leeds have now been outside the top flight since 2004. We have lost a generation of fans to Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Hull, even… Sunderland. Closer to home some kids have only known Leeds & Huddersfield in the same division, and it’s this loss of profile for a prolonged period that is doing us real damage as a club. In short fewer bums on seats from the next generation will cripple our club as a major player.

Massive problem especially in a football hot spot in a one club city where we should have been getting 40k every game. License to rint money but because of Bates followed by GFH, Haigh, his mate the insurance guy, and now Cellino we are becoming a football backwater. Not so long ago were were on for back to back promotions but Bates would't stump up cash in January. Both Southampton and Norwich were down with us but both invested and look at them now, Southampton great club, and Norwich even if relegated again will get massive parachute payments. Bates knew promotion was worth £100m but fantastic businessman he aint obviously. Cellino stole the club from under Flowers and Haigh and didn't do enough due diligence hence the problems now
