I'd much rather have him over Erdinc. Then again, I've heard that he's only doing so well because he had Hazard and Gervinho on either side of him. It makes me wonder what sort of quality Erdinc has had feeding him balls for him to score the goals he has.

The arguement that nobody wants an unknown foreigner is bullshit. 99% of us are chuffed to get Cabaye for £4.5m, it looks like a brilliant deal and he can form a great partnership with Tiote.

People aren't against Erdinc bacause he's not PL proven or largely unheard of. It's because if you look at the stats he doesn't really seem to be an improvement on what we have. We could sign N'Zogbia for one or two million more and he'd score / create more than Erdinc.

But Whelan is being a arsehole on the Nzog front. So teams are probably taking a step back and will wait till January

Henry struggled to score in Ligue 1 and Seria A.

I know he generally played on the wing but Wenger used to try an play him as a striker before he went to Juve.

If Erdinc gets service then he can score. I'd rate him as a technically better finisher than any of our other strikers apart from Ba.

Some of PSG's midfielders and wingers the past couple seasons have been Nene, Claude Makelele, Ludovic Guily, and Jeremy Clement

EDIT: and of course now down the road from us, Stéphane Sessègnon was there

You must be a bit dim if you're having trouble working it out.

"...and this is an absolutely astonishing debut performance from Erdinc! Arsenal's defence look distraught but the question on everyone's lips, can he score a sixth? OH MY WORD!!! WHAT A GOAL!!! A beautiful volley from Erdinc in the 38th minute puts the score at 6-1 Newcastle!"
