    Documents have appeared showing the add ons for Martial's transfer to United. Clubs are getting wise now in these transfers...MU have to pay 50% of profit if they sell him on. Clauses like that will have a big effect on the likelihood or cost of his next transfer. The clause extremely likely to be triggered is after he scores 25 goals during his time at United...though no club really minds those.

    Yes - it's interesting isn't it? I was a little surprised that the quote seemed to be after he scores 25 goals in his entire time at Utd (4 years?) - that, to me, is not exactly the sort of form one would want, is it? I'd expect 25 in a couple of seasons, at the very least!

    I suspect that clause is one both parties expect to be paid...so just another dead cert (but delayed) part of the purchase price.

    I think he's actually their player but playing in Saudi or somewhere similar, on loan.
