    the amount of times ive been transported in differant peoples cars and they have put the tape player on and yes youve guessed it they have put on the eagles

    Lucky enough see the Eagles at Wembley Empire Pool in 1977, absolutely brilliant.

    I started following the band in 1975 on advice of an older friend. Saw the second incarnation of the group in 1976 or 1977 and the third band lineup last year.
    Him dying is a real shock to people who grew up on the music. It makes us feel (more) mortal.
    He seemed to be a timeless rocker, one that could have gone on for years to come.

    Eagles had a great sound, probably the most country influenced band to have achieved widespread acceptance all over the world.

    If you have ever heard "We used to know" by Jethro Tull, released in August 1969, you will know exactly where the Eagles got the chord sequence for "Hotel California"
