But the kit does help in achieving that look.

Well the headline did imply it.. but the article doesn't say specifically. Still.

It is interesting how more and more clubs are tapping into the Asian market nowadays.

It makes good financial sense. I'm sure that Spurs and Leicester have made quite a bit from the Son and Okazaki deals.
They're actually good players too, which is a drastic improvement on some of the previous punts that clubs have made.
The likes of Ki, Park (at Utd) and Lee Young-Pyo are exceptions to the general sub-par rule, in my opinion.

I'm surprised that there aren't more British Asians in the game, though.
I suspect that there are various factors behind it, but it rarely gets mentioned.

It's even more funny because it's not this season's kit

To be fair to the complete and utter knobhead, the pictures do appear to be from March 2015.

I've just noticed the star on it, though. Where did that come from?

I have the same kit. I think its the 2009/10 season. It doesn't have a star. He may have added it.

I must say upon further consideration, fans like these do make you question your allegiance to a particular club sometimes.

  15. Oh, you mean that article that doesn't actually prove (a) that those two Asian people are actually Spurs fans, or (b) that they actually got married, let alone in Spurs kits...that one, yeah?

You mean the one that has them both dressed in Spurs kits for their official wedding snaps under the headline 'Tottenham supporters tie the knot in their spurs home kit', in the newspaper that you take as Gospel ... that one, yeah

Talking of taking a newspaper as gospel!....<whistle>

  18. Those look like publicity shots, not wedding photos. That dickhead Gooner was clearly married in his, because you can practically taste the stale egg mayonnaise vol-au-vents and the bottles of Asti Spumante. I doubt the bridemaids are models picked for a photo-shoot, either. One of them has dodgier tattoos than a merchant sailor ffs!

<laugh> They are dodgy pictures I grant you that. The Standard said the Spurs ones were their official wedding snaps. Lots of couples have 'professional' staged shots like those. I doubt the Standard would have just plucked some random publicity shots off of the internet and then made a story up about a wedding and them getting married in their Spurs shirts.
