Ayew has been subbed so I start the rumour he has been sold as they don't want him injured.

Sidestep, which I doubt he's looking for at the moment. When nobody in the top six shows interest he may reconsider.

Do any of you think this Ayew bid is a pr smokescreen?

We are supposedly offering £10 million for a player who is not for sale, doesn't want to come and this £10 million is not enough anyway.
We could just as easily offer £20 million for Messi or Ronaldo, safe in the knowledge that they wouldn't come.

Our board can say they tried but in the end it didn't happen.
Our transfer dealings both in and out are very amateurish.

Why dont we go for Bony? Far superior to us but he would be guaranteed a game every week.

I can see maybe Crouch moving before the window shuts, on loan probably.

You could do a lot worse than him, proven and very useful especially short term.

I think Pulis will go for him if Berahino moves.

Reports coming out of France we're offering Borini and/or Gomez as part of a deal. Poor translation below:

Sunderland decidedly wishes to engage the services of Andre Ayew (26) this winter. After being sent back to the ropes once by Swansea, the Black Cats will return to the charge for the former Marseille, author of 7 goals in 21 Premier League appearances this season. According to our information, they have indeed appointed an agent to propose a new deal with the Swans.

Residents of the Stadium of Light intend to convince them sell their Welsh Black Star offering Fabio Borini (24) and / or Jordi Gomez (30 years) over a sum of money. The ball is now in the Swansea camp, with whom the Ghanaian international is under contract until June 2019.

Borini. The most famous name in the history of this forum. A name that has created threads longer than war and peace.

Now being offered for a welsh black star.

Never really thought much of Crouch but I can see it now - Pickford to Crouch to Defoe - goal! Simples.

Ha! I think if we went that direct it would be the last nail in the coffin for signing Yann, best player in the team being bypassed or being asked to play it long.

Think they'll there could be an element of that in our play with N'Doye but Pants being sold and the players we're linked to I reckon playing it out on the counter is going to be the main part of our game.
