I wonder if the verve and tenacity has gone because the target for the season must have been 40 points, and for the last two weeks press, pundits and supporters have been saying that we are safe from relegation because we are bound to get 11 points from the last 18 games ( as it was before Southampton) and therefore the target has been reached. What happens when you reach a target is that you say "job done" and relax. I personally think 40 points may not be enough. We have believed the public hype and taken our eye(s) off the ball, so to speak.
I hope Flores is adjusting you're team starting first thing today , Newcastle have been playing very well since the end of November and you will need to be firing on all cylinders to take 3 points off them .I'm a big law of average guy though and you can't keep a good team down for long . Watford should take the 3 points imo , but it will need to be earned with hard work and focus ....like you've been most of the season before this puzzling bad run ..
Man, they all nailed it, what a performance! http://www.wdsport.co.uk/2016/01/pl...liberties-for-watford-at-the-liberty-stadium/ Some worrying ones - Juan Carlos Paredes 5 If the Ecuadorian is the answer when Watford are 1-0 down then we are not sure what the question is. Etienne Capoue 3.5 Absolutely abysmal. He gets our second lowest rating of the season – the worst was given to Britos after he was sent off at Preston, so this gives you an idea of how poorly the Frenchman played here. Was lazy in tracking back, wasteful in possession and looked like he would rather have been anywhere else than in Wales on a cold night. If Adlene Guedioura, who was left shivering on the bench, can’t get the nod to replace an underperforming Capoue at any point during this game then he was must be wondering when he will play. Capoue hardly endeared himself to anyone with Watford connections when he ambled off the field laughing and joking with former Spurs’ teammates Kyle Naughton and Sigurdsson and failing to acknowledge the away fans at all. Well done Swansea!
Maybe we've had our half a season of Capoue performing. Perhaps our gloating at Spurs fans over letting such a treasure go was a trifle premature. I hope I am wrong.
TBH I was expecting more from Watford - why so narrow? Although you squandered a couple of chances in the second half so did we, so while a draw wouldn't have been completely undeserved I think the result was about right. What impressed me was both teams weren't afraid to tackle or be tackled and there were some really meaty challenges going in. When a player stayed down after a tackle it was clear they really had been caught - not necessarily illegally or intentionally just well and truly tackled. A few moans but on the whole a game played by men. I think you'll find Fat Sam's lot will be rolling all over the pitch if your players breath on them and they'll go down easier that a $5 hooker. You are undoubtedly going to be safe this year. Look forward to playing you again next season.
A reason so many poster have left. Vile people many of whom also post worse on another Swans site. Coming to other Not606 site is good for the soul as most are pretty fair and stick to the point.
