I don't particulary care for junkies but what he does to his body is his business, I was'nt commenting on whether or not I approved of his lifestyle, just that i've seen him interviewed a few times and I have read that he seems to be a genuine enough bloke who is not too big headed to socialise with his fans.
 
ER, talking about these people as 'poor unfortunates' as if they don't or didn't ignore medical advice on a daily basis, **** over the people who loved them, and blow their ridiculous good fortune on self-abuse and self-destructive behaviour is inaccurate.

If you want to defend someone today, go and find some actual innocents. There's enough bad news in the world that it shouldn't take more than a few seconds to google some. Most of it doesn't involve stupid, spoiled arseholes.

And it's not like the OP made the title particularly ambiguous. You could easily have avoided something you seem to find so offensive.
