Season 1 of True Detective is the finest TV ever.

No I wasn't. I have never even seen Gotham, so why would I be telling people that season 2 is bad?

My original post was, in response to someone saying that they were going to watch True Detective Season 2, that it sucked compared to season 1.
Never once mentioned Gotham.

 

I like Hannibal and it is me that bangs on about it, I'm just surprised not many have seen it as it's very good.

Top 3 for me is

True Detective Season 1
The Wire
The Sopranos

 

Move TD season 1 from the top to the bottom and thats my top 3 too

 

My OP:

Season 2 is no where near as good as season 1.
Very pretentious and convoluted if you ask me.
And I pride myself in being extraordinarily awesome at following tv plots, even to the tiniest details.

Its worth a watch I guess, but don't expect Season 1 level greatness.
