Just watched the 3rd goal and froze the picture from the point of the header through to JT. Not offside.
Cue the outraged masses.

There's not really much to argue with there. Terry is ahead of the defender when Oscar knocks the ball on. How is it not offside?

Thought I'd get a reaction. Cheers. <ok>

It's kind of the point of a forum.

What I mean is, it's not a subjective thing like a foul which some might say was a penalty and others feel was a good tackle. If he's ahead of the defender (in the convoluted way the rules now have it) he's off. If he's not, he's not.

I just posted to get a reaction. Nothing personal. I just can't believe that we are still on this subject 2, yes 2 days later.

The goal stands off side or not...... we all get them for or against
and all have to live with them

Don't know about you mate but I'm loving the fact that so many are wound up by yesterday's game. It's pure entertainment.

The Everton wind up - "Money can't buy you Stones" is what Everton were singing. On Saturday's performance Stones didn't look worth buying for the £millions we offered for his services. Baines at left back was superb and worth buying, but we've got 'Dave' in that position.

A great game of football especially in the second half - the icing on the cake being the John Terry goal and celebration that wound up the multitudes. <cool>

John Terry = TOTAL LEGEND :1980_boogie_down:

Nothing quite like winding up the multitudes.....

An offside goal is not a good form to the rules goal. Where would you have been without it? Where's the form if this luck stops? Not just for Chelsea but for any team which gains points by penalties, deflections and offsides. If you lose at the weekend I think you're going to have problems.

I think they're grateful for every point nowadays. They've had a bit of luck in recent weeks and they know that without the help of the officials they'd be one defeat away from the relegation zone.

That's right Stan, I've been saying the same on the Watford board, telling the truth but receiving a LOT of offensiveness.

Now Spurs too have been lucky i.e. and offside goal against Watford to win it. Also they were very flattered by the 4-1 at the weekend. Monumental mistake by the defender, deflection and a penalty, NOT good.

We've had problems all season, but spurs, arse and united are yet to
beat us.....strange that.

Utd have yet to beat a lot of teams, Spurs and Arsenal are local derbies armchairblue where normality often goes astray and anything can happen in them. What I'm saying is you're struggling for points and only gaining them by luck when it matters, lose one and a run of bad form will follow.

Yeah.. but we've only ever gained anything because of great fortune so why
should it change now?... if only spurs had our luck eh?
