    Am I surprised that black people are pissed off that, for 2 years in a row, the Oscars, which is meant to be the pinnacle of someone's acting career, only nominates white people? No.

    We're not talking a tiny minority here, there are ****loads of black actors, and plenty of good ones.

    Are you saying there's no racism in society nowadays?

    Danny Trejo should have received an Oscar (De La Hoya?) for Machette. Only reason he didn't was because he was Mexican. Hollywood Taco Haters!!!!

    You've went straight to racism - without considering any other factors (as a first guess, maybe out of touch snobbishness of an elite who genuinely don't rate gangster rap movies, even if they personally are in no way racist?).
