the top and bottom of the matter is come the closing of the window if nothing else happens, we need another striker in the building, if Abel get injured were going to struggle with what we've got up front now, plus it would be nice to have two scoring forwards, as for Diomande the lads not had a chance yet due to injury, but as he's not due back till after the window closes( last time it took twice as long for him to get fit) can we afford to risk it.

Do people seriously think we're going to get a better striker than Campbell?

It's all well and good thinking he's a twat for his celebrations against us, he is, but it's highly unlikely that we'll end up with a striker that has a better record in the Championship than him. He's got us promoted before, there's no reason why he can't do it again, I don't like him, but we'd have a better squad with him in it.

Roofe is a midfielder and we definitely don't need any of them without outgoings and Bradshaw would cost a fair few quid, money that we seemingly aren't going to spend this window.

So what ? He can also play up front. Looks a better striker anyway.

Campbell will want one last big pay day and it won't be with us.

Yeah I agree, I just don't like the ****. After saying that if he could come here and score goals and assists I guess I'd deal with it, and so would others.

Thought about this over the last 24hours or so, and to be honest cant stand the man and his old man for the way they muck city around right up to the last minute in the transfer market first time around in the PL, but that said if he was to come here on loan do a job for city and help to get us back to were we want the PL, then surely the boot would be on the other foot, we'd have something he'd want PL football, but that said I think the chances of him coming to city are quite slim, he usually follows the money.

Of the clubs mentioned Wolverhampton looks likely to be his best bet.

If he only gets loan offers for the rest of this season, he's far better off going to a promotion candidate to get his stock higher ahead of securing a permanent move in the summer.

There are no 'last big pay days' left for Fraizer. He has failed to prove himself in the Premier League and there are no 'big bucks' for him in the Championship.
We could well be his 'swan song' and he could well do the job required depending on how he fits into the team and how he partners Abel and the other front men.
Remember, it was his Daddy who got the deal for him and it wasn't bad either but he got injured and hasn't been the same (at Premier League level) since. This could work to our advantage as to promotion BUT, like Abel, what is he going to do if and when we achieve the higher level.

Skybet Latest odds on Patrick Bamford have gone from 11/10 to 4/7 to join QPR during the current transfer window. A Washington and Bamford combo maybe ?

Whilst roofe looks a good player it's only at league two level , Campbell is proven at this level if the chance is there to bring him in on loan we would be stupid to not sound him out

Agreed. His stock is lower than the beer in my empty beer glass from last night.

We're third in the betting at 3/1 (2nd is him staying at Chelsea).

Whilst I respect your opinion, Nothing will convince me that Campbell has anything left at either level.
(PL/CH) I would rather us try for Dwight Gayle actually.

I'm sure some PL club desperate for a striker might offer him a good deal. Swansea/Villa for example, although Villa will struggle to recruit anyone unless they win another couple of games before the window closes.
