I remember that piss. It was nothing like the real Fosters (which I think is **** anyway). The most popular beer in Oz is VB, by a bloody long way. VB used to outsell all other beers combined in Oz. Fosters was a girl's beer made 'specially for export. Personally I prefer Kronenborg or Carslberg.

yeh, Toohey's was the default choice for me... it was 'schooner's of nooo mate' allround when i lived in Sydney... and bottles of vb in the clubs. There was some fairly lethal cloudy snakebite type stuff we used to drink too, only available in a few places. Name escapes me. It tasted rank but taste wasn't the objective..

11 Posts on todays Breakfast Debate - that is what happens when A) we don't get involved and B) we try to talk footie only. Whereas this BD is up-to nearly 200 Posts because we have allowed ourselves the freedom of discussing the merits of various beers and now we are talking about whether or not we get involved in Harrogate and District Question Time - see??

Did you need to drive past the end of his road or are you just amusing yourself?
