No, he turned down Leicester mainly because they are stationed in....Leicester and we are in Southampton. I doubt any team approaches a player and tells him he's needed only as back up.....except a goalie I suppose. We are the best fit for Charlie for various reasons and he knew it.
Daily Echo web site is telling me I won't be able to read their content if I use Adbloc to bar their adverts, in which case I won't be reading their content!
Understandable though...that's where their money comes from. More annoying for me is the adverts on my e-mail account....free only if I don't block the adverts. Don't mind the adverts, but I sometimes have to stop typing when the advert changes. Luckily, I don't send e-mails that often.
According to the QPR forums there are two.. 12 goals this season for Saints, £500,000, does not sound likely and if it were to happen our league position would be high enough to pay for it and more... Inclusion in the England squads for the Euros, £500,000. If these are true everybody wins!
It is not only the adverts but the Cookies and other things banging away slowing everything down. The format of the discussion site is awful too.
The Davis bashers and the neg goes are the same breed, I suspect. Don't discuss football because they know bugger all. Davis is the players' player of our team. Interestingly I heard his signing getting the approval of Danny Murphy, who was a similar player at Liverpool. My Red mates who went to games really rated Murph but the pub watchers didn't get him at all. I think this happens with Davis
To us, he mostly is. QPR fans seem to like him though. And he scored an absolute blinder against us last season at St Marys; possibly even better than the one Pelle scored in reply. Now they both play for Saints. It's been a flipping brilliant week, basically.
