Mitro has played well the last couple of games. He is able to take the pressure off the rest of the team as an outlet and actually has been doing that well. We could do with him taking a bit off by sticking it in the net mind you. But I like him in the side. I would typically feel less inclined to sub him off than say Perez in the situation where we are having to see a game out.

 

Nah it's not unfair to expect a premier league player to finish simple chances on a regular basis, rather than constantly balloon them over the bar or straight at the keeper. Oddly his shots have no power AND lack accuracy. Make him a defender.

This was my second match day thread. The other being the League cup game against Northampton. Might retire from them now whilst I'm ahead.

 

Mitro played well but in the penalty area he looked like bambi, all legs. Once he sorts his legs out he will score goals. Shelvey was superb today with his vision to see a pass and Wjnaldum is far better in his new role. Away from home we will be a force on the break away.
