We have a loyaltigerbrian, who doesn't seem to be loyaltigerbrian and we have a brian, who may in fact be loyaltigerbrian. I hope that's cleared that up.
I don't think Brian. is the real deal either, it looks far too fake, and the fact it appeared literally immediately after we pointed out the mistake with the first LTB attempt makes me wonder. Apostrophes get used, no commas at all, and we haven't heard any classic Brian phrases like 'polishing the turtle' or 'bashing your bishop'.
Midlands Tiger - you didn't ask who I am now. That means you have to sit in the back tomorrow even though there's only 2 of us going.
Like **** you old fart... i'll nick the ipod wire and make you listen to 'headache music' the whole way then
Was Iain Hesfords dietitian, then aspaladistra now back to IHD Not that it really matters I only rarely posted and then only nostalgic ramblings but then again I thought I should let you all know I'm watching here too... Now anyone remember the plastic cola cans at boothferry ;-)
New member - been reading 606 posts for years but never got round to joining... Seen as everyones has now ****ed off 606 and joined this thought I'd better do something about it. From Hull, now live in Portsmouth, really miss my chip spice... but on the plus side the garlic mayo on the kebabs down here is 2nd to none
We did emigrate the year after the floods in Hull, but it wasn't to get away from the floods. But you have to say since we have come we have seen loads of rain throughout our time and it was only the last flooding that caused major problems really. It shows how ill equipped the UK is to deal with what in reality was only a very small amount of water compared to what is dispensed with on a regular basis here. But i suppose the same can be said of the snow when the UK gets some. We are 30 km north of Brisbane so were not really affected too much. As for Brisbane itself, there has been a lot of damage and quite a lot of things will be ages before they are back to normal, the City Cat ferries are supposed to be up to 18 months to be back running as they should. Some Businesses are relocating obviously away from potential flood again. I was up at a friends house up in the Mountains the weekend after it all blew up, helping him out to repair fences rebuild his road and such like. what was normally a stream running through his property turned into a raging torrent which swept his road away which before hand stood 10 ft higher than the stream. This week Queensland is again on high alert but this time against Cyclone Anthony, but this is thought to cross over Townsville as a category 3.
