I agree with you regarding the ungentlemanly conduct.

The ref was a reserve ref. Kevin Friend went ill before the game started. Don't know if the ref we had was senior or jnr

Nah, I'd be surprised if Bucks has referee'd Champions League, but remember him saying he was a level 2 ref.
