Not sure if it will. We go to whiteheads anyway mate. Miles better. I'm gonna give it another go. Think it calls for the penis headslap usually brings her to life.
Walk up to the side of the bed with your tallywhacker dangling. When she asks what the **** your doing drop her a wink & say "it's not gonna suck itself" She'll soon get up.
Valid reasons for promotion: 1) We are 3rd with 21 games to go. 2) If we improve on that by one place, we shall go up auto. 3) If we do not drop below 6th we will go into the playoffs and have a 1/4 chance of promotion. 4) We have done it before as has SB. 5) SB has only managed in this league 3 times in the last 15 years and he has been promoted every time. Why we might not come straight back down: 1) We have not on the two previous occasions. 2) Obviously this would be down to signing some new and better players and the one thing you have to give the Allam's is they have spent money. 3) It looks like 3 teams might be available for second season syndrome. Better manager than SB; - Not sure I can be bothered with this one, as if SB gets us up, he wont get sacked so no point in replying. There is no evidence that Hull City's inconsistency will not continue: Agreed but there is no evidence that Hull City's inconsistency will continue so enjoy the ride. Bunkers, what evidence do you have that City are no better than Aston Villa or Sunderland right now? and not sure what you are claiming regarding any instability at the Club, or any short term planning, do you think we are worse than the average club in this regard?
Just a few weeks ago, a Brighton supporter could use your argument to say they were pretty certain to be promoted as champions, yet now Brighton are now fourth, and four points behind Derby who have a game in hand. If their current form continues they'll be lucky to make the play-offs. And since you concede City are inconsistent, I don't see your argument for optimism that City will improve. As far as 1 in four probability that City might win the play-offs, well surely you can see that is incorrect. For one thing, the play-offs have no precedent from which to derive a probability, and for another, your approach to probability is not a valid objective argument, it is mere opinion. The same applies to City having been promoted before. You state an opinion, but it it is not a valid, objective argument. You might as well refer to City being promoted from Division Three back in the sixties. The situations are completely unrelated. And with respect to Steve Bruce, I put it to you that as we get older our abilities change. In some respects we might improve, but in others we deteriorate. It is a fact that most older men cannot concentrate as keenly as they once did, and moreover, in a changing world, older men find it increasingly difficult to accept new concepts because they have most likely struggled hard to understand the ones they already hold dear. Steve Bruce having done the business before doesn't guarantee he will again. With respect to immediate relegation in the event of promotion this May, you once again haven't given a valid, objective argument. In fact, I argued that the evidence is Steve Bruce might spend 40 million quid and still get relegated, so I don't understand your reply at all. Regarding City, Villa and Sunderland, I put it to you that Meyler and Elmohamady are Sunderland rejects - like Steve Bruce. People on here have said that Meyler, Elmohamady, Huddlestone, Dawson, Diame and Livermore were pretty much the foundation of a new Premier League Hull City, and that they should easily do the business in the Championship. But if that was true, why wouldn't they have been snapped up by Sunderland or Villa last August? Let's see in one more month if Sunderland or Villa want City's Premier League prospective players. In any case, Hull City lost the likes of Brady and Chester in August and haven't replaced them with Premier League class players, so it is fair to argue this current City squad wouldn't match last season's squad who were relegated. For these reasons I say the evidence is Hull City are no better than Sunderland or Villa right now. That is what I mean by reasoned argument. As far as enjoying the ride goes, I can't help wondering what the destination is supposed to be. The Allams' gamble of taking on Hull City in order to get their hands on Walton Street Fair Ground etc has backfired. They are left holding a baby they didn't want in the first place, and which they only took on in order to further their other plans. They got the promotion they wanted to the Premier League and fluffed it. They say the club is for sale. Well, from where I am sitting, that certainly doesn't look like a stable, long term organization, and it is the reason why when the chips are down like last season, City cannot compete with Everton, West Ham etc.
Valid objective arguments have no place on this Forum! Like all your points, this is a Forum for subjective opinions - after all this is football we're talking about. You sound very miserable & depressed - it can get like that sometimes supporting Hull City! Never mind, we're well on track for promotion - but lots of highs and lows to go until the end of the season. Just try and enjoy it a bit more than you seem to be doing!
Bunkers, please, please call the samaritans. Seriously though, you are entitled to your opinions and thoughts mate,.I am sure you feel better for posting them, sorry I have not answered any of them for you. Lets just see what happens hey?
You know what this sounds like? A young kid questioning why they should choose City over supporting Man U or Liverpool. It's all up n the air isn't while supporting Man U I'll always be top and winning silverware. Too much uncertainty I need to know im a winner
It's tempting to start supporting Man U, I can afford to watch a higher quality of football, but I think after being a Liverpool fan for 10 years I doubt I'd be able to stomach it.
People have their views and they aren't going to change, Bruce is staying whatever you think about him. Time for the bickering to stop.
All being well, Brucey will get this team back up, the Allams will sell next Summer, and we will then recruit a manager who plays a better brand of football and is more likely to give the Prem a good go.
We nearly threw it away yesterday thanks to Bruceys insistence of subbing both strikers, we lost momentum again, but thanks to Clucas persisting to the end crossed for their keeper to win us the game. Bruce has form doing this and it pisses me off, we go 1-0 he takes strikers off to try defend lead, not without Dawson in the side will that ever work, I just wish he'd learn but it doesn't look like he will.
Brighton lost 3 home games in a row - Hughton out! Burnley and Derby only take 4 points over Christmas / New Year - Dyche and Clement out!
Being a City fan is great fun, we're either in a promotion or a relegation fight nearly every season..
True - when were our last 'mid-table obscurity seasons'? 2013/14, 2010/11, 2005/06, 2001/02? Not been many this century at least.
Spot on. The reality is that by withdrawing any/all strikers for a midfielder/defender you free up a defender for the opposition who then pushes into an offensive position, we sink deeper, get put under pressure and as a result get all nervy, particularly when we don't have Daw's hand on the tiller. It also negates to some extent our ability to kill a team off
More chance of Aston Villa avoiding relegation in 2016 than the deluded few getting Bruce Out. To even want that to happen is comical nonsense.
Don't see much chance of that whatever happens. Thankfully the Bruce Out collective wont get there way anytime soon.
