Apparently Steven Gerrard has been refused membership of Hillside Golf Club in Southport, despite being recommended by Hansen and Dalgleish who are both members. It's the 3rd club in the area to turn him down. His off field antics were the reason so it is being reported. As Groucho Marx once said " I do not wish to join any club that would have the likes of me as a member"

Have a severe case of man flu today. Was building over weekend and work has brought it out in full force.
Cheer up all. Come on. I had man flu too on Saturday but I got these throat sweets. Tyrozets over counter too. Ace. First ever time I've seen anything over counter actually work... says it has anaesthetic for throat and antibiotic to kill infection. Worked totally. Went from can't talk to shouting at dozy emre can yesterday.
Had that man-flu this time two weeks ago, remedies tried ... paracetomol, lemsip, vaporub, satsumas, boiling water with cordial + honey
