I don't think Brendan was involved at all. There was no physical evidence linking him to it. All they had was his coerced confession, and the boy was just guessing till he said what they wanted to hear. He was also badly let down by his original defence team who were working in cahoots with the SA prosecution. The boy's clearly a bit simple, and the case against him should never have gone to court without any corroborating evidence.

As for Steven, I really don't know whether he did it or not. The documentary was heavily slanted in his favour, and I believe that there's some incriminating stuff about him that's either not shown or glossed over. That said, the state had the motivation and the means to frame him. They admitted upfront that Manitowoc County had a conflict of interest and paid lip service to doing the right thing by bringing in the neighbouring county to investigate - but they remained heavily involved and appeared incompetent and/or corrupt throughout. At the end of the day, there were so many holes in the prosecution's version of events, and so many occassions where they were dodgy as ****, that SA should never have been convicted.

The girl's brother and ex-boyfriend were slippery ****ers, and should definitely have been investigated further. In summary,

When you consider that Fred West (a grown man and father) could not be interviewed by Police without a "Responsible Adult" being present, it shows what an absolute farce it was to allow Brendan to be interviewed on his lonesome.

The Avery's are (supposebly) bad eggs, shagging each other, raping each other and, this has been confirmed by Avery and the family, dyed in the wool Septic FC fans.

I found the Car yard on Google. Notice the absence of tyre marks going to SA trailer. :(

Her brother and ex-boyfriend "guessed" her mobile phone password, listened to voice mails (and possibly deleted some) and printed her phone log! Why?

Her car was found with branches leaning against it. Why - to hide i? He had a car crusher.

She was burned in a pit. He had a smelter.

No blood was found in the trailer or garage after she was stabbed and her her throat cut!

The key appearing in the trailer.

The one bullet found in the garage.

God directing the women who found the car.

Police officer link running a licence plate check on the car before it had been found.

They did find blood...from a Deer which had been butchered there several weeks before. Apparently Avery and his Genius nephew were smart enough to clear up all the "Human" (The Victim's) blood but cunningly left the deer blood <laugh>
