If Fellaini plays then it will confirm that the manager's brain is totally muddled. He will be worse than useless against a pumped up Liverpool under Klopp. The stats posted in another thread are startling. I don't tend to read too much into stats as they can be manipulated but in this instance I think they speak volumes! Only the manager can't see that!
Would you prefer a CM with Schneiderlin and Herrera... or would you consider Powell?? Or even Blind if we have someone to take his place at CB? I dont pay that much attention to stats either but apparently our loss % with Schneiderlin is like 6% compared to 67% without him.
Strange because I think we're all hoping fellaini doesn't play as hell cause havoc in our defence from any set piece.
Not as a CM he won't, which is where he's been stinking the place out of late. Drop Herrera back and let him play behind Rooney maybe, and even then it's extremely desperate measures on our part. He shouldn't be in the team, period.
The pro's and cons just dont make that enough of a reason to play him. He'll probably get sent off today. He will give away more set pieces than he'll earn and will be hapless in possession. Having said that he's made 3 or 4 good passes in the last 2 games so who knows. But I'm not holding out much hope for him.
Makes no difference, small players cause havoc in our box let alone someone thas 6ft 4 no matter how good or bad in the air!
I'm convinced he'd play better if he had a haircut and looked like this. please log in to view this image
Because Fellaini is useless. He'll be chasing shadows all afternoon and has a good chance of getting a red card. http://www.not606.com/threads/0-9-points-per-game-with-fellaini-and-2-4-without-him.320699/
