Aye, the blew United away in the last derby game. Mind you, one goal only had one post & no cross bar.
French newspaper L'Equipe on Sunday has a feature on the future of Andre Ayew which is written so much from the player's perspective that it could have been penned by his representation. Ayew only joined Swansea during the summer transfer window and it would appear he saw the Welsh club as a stepping stone to a large Premier League team. Sunderland are unlikely to be that team, according to L'Equipe, with Swansea refusing a €17m offer from the club. Whilst Sunderland may return with a higher offer, the French newspaper don't believe that's likely to succeed, with Swansea loathe to sell one of their best players to a relegation rival, and the player himself not too enticed by the prospect of joining Sunderland. Ayew is said to want to help Swansea avoid relegation, and then move to a club toward the top of the Premier League, with the Manchester clubs even being mentioned. Ayew, 26 years of age, clearly believes he's shown enough so far to catapult himself right to the other end of the league. Sponsored by Revcontent Trending Today That's fair enough but will any of the better performing clubs want him. Sunderland IMO are a bigger club than some of the better performing clubs. Look what happened to the likes of bent and sess they moved and stagnated. I feels l it could be a good move for ayew.
We wouldn't be bidding if he wasn't interested. So it's A, he'd could be intrested and Swansea won't sell or B. It's all a great big pile of ****e. I think it's B.
Swansea will sell. They are in freefall and going down. Whether he would come to us is another matter. Fee seems a bit steep to me even tho he's a decent player.
Word floating around Twitter in among the fanzines is that Shelvey was offered around and the Mags took him. Ayew has been offered around and we're interested and Gomez has also been offered around with no interest at all. Sounds like something is going on at Swansea. Big earners fire sale. have they ****ed up their wage bill or something?
I thought we weren't allowed to talk to the player until clubs agree a fee? So we've no way of knowing if he's interested or not unless Swansea accept an offer or maybe I'm just being naïve...
Kid thinks he's better than he is. He's nowhere near good enough for a move to either Manchester club.
