Funes Mori scored in the last seconds of the 90. The injury time was announced after he'd scored, what's the difference?

 

I think Klopp's problem is that the players he's got can't do what he wants them to do to get the results he's looking for-especially in defence, and the small matter of putting the ball in the bloody net.
Like I said, he needs time. Time to identify those players he can improve, and replace those he can't. It won't come good in just a few months and half a window.

My point was lets just say hypothetically the time stops when a goal is scored, mori scored on 90. If he didnt celebrate there would be 7 minutes to play. As a result of him celebrating for a minute to make it 91, the ref had to play to 98 to make up that 7 minutes play.

Terry scored in 98 (would be 97 if time had stopped during moris celebration). Thats the 7 minutes play already so no more time should be added on as the 7 minutes additional time have already been played so it didnt matter how long terry celebrated. The next action was always going to be the ref blowing up whether it was a goal kick corner kick or kick off

 

But where did the 7 mins come from, was 3 of them added for Costa dragging himself back onto the pitch?

 

Yea not sure where that came from myself. I was just responding to tobes as he thought more time should have been added on cause terry celebrated after his goal not the fact that 7 mins came from nowhere!

I understood what your point was, but you have seemingly missed mine.

When Funes Mores scored it was in the last seconds of the 90 minutes. The additional time wasn't announced until after the celebration. The time 'wasted' of the 90 was exactly the same scenario as yours.

 

Oh i see what you are saying. Maybe the ref thought it was past 90 already? Anyway when is martinez going to stop doing a brenton and staying loyal to underperformers. Joels a far better keeper, has more of a future and he even played well in the cup

 

Also a very fair point, unfortunately the ref normally gives instruction for time added at least a couple of mins before the 90 is up.

 

It's unfathomable mate. Howard has no place in that side, which is as good as anything in the division.

He's the obvious weak link and he's cost us points all season long.

If you put a top draw keeper in that side we'd be right up there. I personally doubt Robles is the answer, but he deserves his chance, as when he's come in he's looked good.

 

The celebrations took no longer than they normally do in that kind of situation. It was the fact that he got involved with the crowd that made it stand out.

It was ****house refereeing, as he obviously kowtow'd to the words of a Chelsea player in his ear. The same as he undoubtedly did when he came up with 7 minutes to start with, and then they allowed a blatantly offside goal to boot.

Everton scored just as the clock turned 90. Game was restarted at 91.20. It is understandable why the ref played past the 7 mins.

That said, Terry was offside.

Oh and LVG is snide but he has a point. Lfc have **** all structure above Klopp so if Klopp does win the league we will be back to 7th quickie it's not sorted.

LVG also knows nobodies name due to arrogance.. journo = fat man, young players called wrong names etc..... and knows nothing of utds history either
