Terry went into the crowd and celebrated in exactly the same way as Funes Mori did and the referee added on **** all additional time for it.

    So that argument dies there.

There should never have been 7 minutes in the first place, it was an absolute nonsense.

The fact that Terry was so obviously offside to boot, makes it borderline bent.

    That's bollocks.

We got done with a punt over the top that Jags mis judged and then the tit that is Howard ran past. That's nothing to do with the style of play, we were coasting that game and 2 individual errors combined to let them back in.

The second was a fluke with a wicked deflection from a shot that was never going in.

    You can't legislate for that.

We kept City out for 90 minutes midweek, the only side to manage that feat at the Etihad for a year.

We have lost points by being too open earlier in the season, but that wasn't the case today, we got mugged.

My comments weren't just about today, it was about you in general over the course of the season just with todays game in mind.

Posted this on the Chelsea board (I stand by my opinion on the offside bit), nobody has picked up or commented on the bolded bit, any opinions on here/

"Just seen the full game on "game of the day" (Sky), the offside decision would have been very harsh as Terry was just leaning into that position when he received the ball off the second header, at the time of the first header (the one he was chasing) he was well on side.
Looking at the time side of the goal, it was definitely "Fergie time", even including the celebration time for Everton's 3rd there was nowhere near 7 mins of stoppage in the second half, never mind 8 mins.
Speaking of time added, nobody has mentioned Costa dragging himself back onto the pitch to get the game stopped when he originally got injured, was time added for that stoppage?"

He wasn't just leaning into an offside position he was a ****ing full yard off when Oscar headed the ball. The fact he was on from the first phase is a complete irrelevance

Yeh saw the thug drag himself back on...
Celebration or added time is a non issue for me as we could have celebrated for 2 days or played 20 mins added time by the letter of the law Terry was offside so it should not have stood.. It should not have stood and it was basically the last act in the match

If he was onside then we would blame the added time lol

Terry was well off. Thought at first that Oscar didn't get a touch and that it was fair enough but he obviously did in slo-mo and from another angle so fine to be aggrieved by that. The celebration for No. 3 was ridiculous though. Still time to play in the match, players thought they won it and switched from play football mode into celebration/got it won mode so you let them in for the equaliser there by switching focus.

It's not a fair reflection of today's game though, we have been guilty of it, no argument, but not today.

We were better than them today and should have left with 3 points if the officials had done their jobs properly.

I said earlier the referee said he added on the extra minute (on top of the ridiculous 7 he'd already alotted) for the celebration. But he added on **** all when they scored and Terry and co did exactly the same thing!

Nope, it's down to him being a half decent football player who has now cut down on the silly cards.
You could do with him right now instead of Charlie Chan :emoticon-0100-smile

There was a point at 3-2 where you had a lot of players forward in an attack when you really should have been shutting up shop.
When you lost the ball you had about 4 players (hard to be sure how many on a screen) caught up-field who weren't exactly motoring back.
Only due to the Chavs slow build-up you weren't caught out before Terry's blatantly offside goal.

    You woz robbed, though. Defo.

Wearing your home shirt as a thermal second skin underneath the wooly jumper then. Hope you sat on your hands. But then if you did some celebrating and supporting they'd probably look curiously at you like some alien species

Not sure what you're referring to mate, I don't recall us being caught forward during the injury time period at all. We scored our 3rd on 90.
