I think Leeds were the better team for much of the game today. We have a team composed of young players who,could develop, with a goalscorer into a decent team.
Played much better than I thought we would. Probably deserved something and robbed a goal. Wednesday will be in the play offs I reckon. I liked our set up as well but we are lacking quality thats undeniable. Leeds lover, wheres your report? I want to hear how rubbish cook was
I don't need to point out to someone with as much wisdom as you that what you describe is potential and that is not the same as progress.

Progress? Chairman: Seems to be behaving himself in terms of interfering with tactics etc. & player purchases. Progress? Has cut costs enormously, introduced an affordable wage structure, has offloaded almost all of our expensve deadwood, has kept GFH's gas at a peep, has invested a significant amount of cash, and has put his hands up to getting a number of things wrong. Can't remember a Chairman ever admitting that. Progress? Now if you don't believe that's progress, ask yourself another, perhaps more important question - what woud have happened if Cellino had not puchased us? There were a dearth of saviours on white chargers, you might remember. Simple answer - we'd be bust, bought on the cheap (possibly by our old chum Bates), points deducted, relegation, cheap sales of all of our saleable players, massive payoffs to those we couldn't get rid of, mounting debts, ridicule & all round depression. Better the devil you know, surely? Or is getting rid of Cellino at all costs progress to you? Head Coach: Cellino has employed someone who knows his place, and shall we say is a bit of a rogue, just like our Chairman. First time a manager's probably had a good working relationship with the current Chairman. Progress? Seems to know what's required of him at Leeds, in every aspect. Has has announced that he is trying to turn around the negative, defensive football that Rosler introduced & recruited for. Progress? He doesn't have the squad to play in the positive way he wants us to play, & has only been able to make 2 signings so far - 1 of whom has become a fans favourite, and the other has made a reasonable fist of his immedate introduction. No failures to date, unlike all of our previous managers. He has a list of signings which the Chairman is working on, but Leeds is becoming harder & harder to sell to a player in the current climate. Most of us think he just might be able to do it. Squad: Mainly put in place by Redders & Rossler. Evans has only made 2 loan additions. I think we only have 2 players who are 30 or more. No longer a bunch of old has beens or hopless foreign punts. Progress? We have a young squad with potential. Currently, 7 academy players are in the squad. Not since O'Leary's days have we been so blessed in this department. OK, perhaps not PL standard this time round, but who knows, given the opportunity? Progress? We actually have saleable assets that other people want. When did our squad last elicit so many PL & overseas enquiries? Progress? Of course there is room for improvement. There always is. Even the biggest clubs think like that. Negativity in the ranks: Your constant negative criticism is a droning broken record. No variation whatsoever. If this is one of your fishing expeditons, then stick your rod up your jacksie. It serves no purpose to go over the same poison time after time after time. Our club is going through (another) rough patch & you persist in trying to undermine the club spirit & and that of those who try to keep it raised on this site. You offer no concrete alternatives other than to get rid of Cellino. Several times a day, usually. Rather boring, and we've heard it all before with previous owners, only for our saviours to fall off their white chargers fairly swiftly. Hate to tell you this matey, but pantomime season is over so no-one about owns a magic wand. We all realise we have to grin & bear it, & we dare to havea little hope. Perhaps it's time for you to wake up & smell the coffee - not the rest of us. We're perfectly aware of the situation. We want to support our club as positively as possible, and not have to suffer abuse from fellow Leeds fans for doing so.
