Finally, someone at Hispania has realised that their marketing strategy has failed. Not a single sponsor flocked to the team despite very appealing "this could be you" stickers plastered on the side.

Honestly, what else did they expect? Any team that has to advertise for sponsors is surely in big, big trouble and these stickers sent out completely the wrong message. Already the new HRT ones on the sidepod are a big improvement, and shows the new owners are talking a small step in the right direction. The question is will they ever take a step in the right direction on the track?

I agree, HRT are creating a very good new image for them selves. They now appear to have a plan and can be taken seriously as a racing team

Didn;t they pay some Holywood consultant to come up with that original scheme?

I think the fact that they're still here is an achievement in itself ;)

Miggins, I wasn't being snide, even if I have about them in the past :) But it occurred to me that they've always been reported as on the verge of failure yet they are still here: 1st season - wouldn't make it to the grid, wouldn't make the end of the season. This year: weren't ready for winter testing, wouldn't make it to the grid... Always on the verge of bankruptcy but tenacious enough to survive.

Compared to some of the teams that were around in the mid to late 80's, Minardi were professionals with very high standards! There were some truly awful teams back then.

It was the worst car ever, barring that LIFE pile of tripe. the LIFE had about 400bhp in a 900bhp world.

It was rubbish, but I do give them a bit of repect for trying to make their own engine and in a configuration that was completely different to anything seen before in an F1 car.

Think its record was 8 consecutive laps without failing!
