Austin signed for Southampton for £4M (ish). What's that about £10M less than what we offered <laugh>

That said though I would have liked to see us sign him but hey ho.

Am actually disappointed we didn't get him - he scored 18 goals in the Premier league for the worst team last season and for £4M I would have definitely taken him.

Aguero spends more time with the physio - would you not want him?

I feel like this is one missed, im wondering if the owners don't want to replace Okazaki.

Replace Okazaki? Why would they want to do that and if they wanted to Austin wouldn't have.

Austin would have replaced Krameric and competed with Vardy as he is a No 9.

If we had Vardy and Austin, i'd be surprised if we didn't start with both of them.

Am not comparing the players but the situations - wouldn't you sign Aguero knowing he is injury prone?

IMHO they wouldn't work together as both are No 9s and want to be at the end of moves rather then starting them.

Doesn't matter as it is pointless now - I wonder if Ings is available...
