    I think you all need to read into this a bit more.
    Did we not pay £5M for him, meaning after all this we have actually lost money on him.
    But most importantly it tells us that we are not interested in promotion or miles from it.
    The club have cocked all this up big time!

    Yep only personal terms to be sorted. Should have sold him earlier, lost a lot of money just goes to show the club is still being short sighted.

    Get real Jeff...The CLUB are selling him.
    But he has accepted the club that has come in for him
    Newcastle could have offered 12 mill, and he would probably have stayed. Saints offer 4mill and he goes


    Actually I am not too disappointed...the club has accepted we are not being promoted...they have cashed in as well as the can....they have taken the pressure of JFH...he needs to build for next season.
    We all need a reality break here.

    This had to happen...better he goes now for 4 million, than drift along all season and he goes for nowt at the end

    He'll be ok in a good team with a good strike partner, he was excellent with Chris Martin at Derby but if he's on his own he's too lightweight and Polter is no Chris Martin. I think we can kiss the Premier League goodbye for a good while...
