Can Shelvey play in the fullback position?

 

Oh he can certainly run, however he can't tackle, pass, cross, take freekicks, score or beat a man.

Colback is in a very poor run of form. There have been times when he was solid for us, but like a few others (Perez for example) has suffered from not being dropped due to lack of adequate cover when his form tailed off.

 

He can't even dive

I expect him to be dropped now that we've increased the cover in CM. It may not be today as the West Hem game may come too early for both signings to start, but in time I think he will be replaced in the starting XI if his form doesn't drastically improve.

 

Not a chance mclaren will always select him but I hope you're right.
