Dicanio i think you would like,if i remember.

Strong rumour coming from talksport ref pearson.
I would say if we can pull this off,
    A-we will survive
B-he would bring the quality in,he would attract players to this football club we all love.

Di Canio lost the plot and that was a while ago.
I wanted McInnes got that wrong
I wanted SoD totally got that wrong
I was not happy with Cotterill who went onto proving me wrong yet again. He lost the plot and I fear his stubbornness was his own downfall.

Pearson I worry his losing the plot would of blotted his appeal. His ex players are all pretty much sorted and happy so I don't know if players will come as easily as you think. But wouldn't be concerned if it's him that they appoint.
Open to the idea of Monk and think he might entice one or two players, but could be a brave choice as its a hard task to get players who played their best for previous manager to up their game.
Moyes I doubt would even answer the phone call to us.
Poyet is sorted in a Greek club.
    Di Mateo see Moyes.

I think we could all be shocked and get an European coach looking to get into the English leagues just hope it's in the mould of Pochettino (don't think I'm saying him) but someone who can get clubs playing like he has.

It is the dilemma of whether to aim high to what Bristol City's aspirations are or to aim to a lower league manager- or another way better than Steve Cotterill credentials or worse.
The obvious answer is to go for the likes of Pearson, Monk or Moyes, but if they were to be offered the post, no way would they be accept a Bristol City side with only 16 registered players, some of whom are not championship quality. So the likes of Pearson would demand investment , and a change of tactics and quite rightly so. Yet according to the City heirarchy there are no plans for bring in new players, so unless that changes we are only likely to attract managers with less credentials than SC.

I did vote for Monk, who may still be bitter about the way he was treated by Swansea.

    OTHER THAN DI CANIO
pretty much my reasoning.. although i would kept SOD on ( coach) and maybe got in another team manager, at the moment someone like Moyes might just like a short term contract .. ..to keep his hand in..
I think whoever it is should be told straight up £6m now and £10m in the summer... we have to make that jump from L1 / average bottom Champ side to top half regular champ side .. .. pay the wage for the job.
we have started a plan which was not followed through ..younger players build a squad ... ... had younger players almost injury free season in L1 got away with small squad .... ... this season SC had head in sand, 3 - 5 -2 even a couple managers who played commented we knew how to beat the 3 -5 - 2 same formation same players come on how easy is that to plan against...
