Can't see it myself, why would they sell their star player to a relegation rival?
Also says a lot about our scouting system... They've had all this time since summer to find players and it comes down to, halfway through January, we play a team and Sam says "he's good"![]()
Can't be true! I'd also imagine he would cost a pretty packet too.
If we had played our cards right a few years back we may have been at the front of the queue for the Ayew brothers and not at the back, behind Villa and Swansea.
£20 million + Graham could do it - but his fees and wages are astronomical.

How about 15 mil or 20 mil + Graham. I'd probably choose option A if I were them.
I'm not taking this rumour seriously, they'd be mad to sell him and there's no indication we have the wage budget to sign someone like him. Good player though.
TC - experience as a Sunderland fan tells you this sort of stuff happens regularly - it's part of our "magic"Can't see it myself, why would they sell their star player to a relegation rival?

No chance of this happening. Hes their key man and selling him to a relegation rival would be effectively throwing the towell in
Wish we'd got him and Gignac for free from Marseille in the summer. £20m+ worth of players for £0 so wages wouldn't have been an issue you'd think.
